What I Offer

Do you have a hard time getting out of bed? Notice you don't care about things you used to? Feel dread trying to get things done? Have thoughts that are really mean to yourself?

If so, therapy may help you:
  • clarify what you care about

  • change behaviors to live a fulfilling life

  • change the way you relate to your thoughts and feelings

  • be more present

I work with clients by using Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT) to work on being willing to feel uncomfortable emotions, find out what things are worth facing fatigue and low motivation, stop getting caught up in thoughts and be more present in life. I also use Cognitive Behavioral techniques to explore whether thoughts are accurate or helpful. Last, I use Dialectical Behavioral Therapy (DBT) to provide coping skills for strong emotions.
